TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police officials said they're looking into allegations of a female teacher having inappropriate contact with a teenage boy.

A letter just went out to parents at Andrada High School, warning them about inappropriate student contact allegations made against one of their teachers.

TPD is investigating the matter.

They said there's an open investigation that started Wednesday after a male student at Andrada Polytechnic High School said a female teacher had inappropriate contact with him.

The letter sent out by Vail School District this afternoon explains they want to make sure parents know they are fully cooperating with authorities.

Vail School District and the Tucson Police Department aren't releasing more information about the matter because it's an ongoing investigation.

However, they want to make clear that parents know that no one has been charged or admitted guilt.

We will be following the story for you as it develops.
