NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO (Tucson News Now) -

Nogales, Sonora is devising strategies to bring its neighbors back to town.

City leaders said tourism has taken a severe hit because people continue to think the area is too dangerous.

The tourism board is holding its Winter Fest Nov. 15 and Nov. 16. Events started off with a boxing match between U.S. and Mexican fighters and will continue with salsa dancing, live music and cultural activities.
