Terre Haute, Ind. – The University of Arizona Wildcat men's and No. 2 women's cross country teams had several student-athletes earn All-Pac-12 honors for their work in the classroom. The Pac-12 announced the Academic All-Pac-12 teams on Wednesday. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

On the men's side, junior Sam Macaluso earned first-team honors. Macaluso is pursuing a degree in management information systems and has a 3.47 GPA. Junior Lawi Lalang received second-team honors. Lalang is majoring in public health and boasts a 3.36 GPA. Junior Kenji Bierig was an honorable mention honoree.

On the women's side, junior Stephanie Bulder earned first-team honors with a 3.95 GPA and major of molecular and cellular biology. Senior Erin Menefee also earned first-team accolades with a 3.97 GPA and she is pursuing a degree in nutrition. Senior Elvin Kibet's GPA of 3.79 was good for a spot on the second team. She is also pursing a degree in public health. Juniors Clea Formaz and Kate Penney earned honorable mention honors
