Georgia can establish itself as a top-tier beast if it gets by South Carolina this weekend - and USC would drop to 0-2 in the league with a loss. Tennessee travels to Oklahoma, where Coach Bob Stoops doesn't believe the SEC is all-powerful.

PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS (RNN) – The short rest in paradise was good to the Tennessee Volunteers.

After losing to UTEP in game that ended shortly after midnight Friday, the Vols (4-2) defeated the Xavier Musketeers (5-2) 64 – 49 at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

The win puts Tennessee in the fifth place game of the tournament on Saturday.

Forward Jarnell Stokes earned a double-double in the game, scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Jordan McRae scored 16 points and forward Jeronne Maymon scored 14 points in the victory.

The victory lets Tennessee get revenge after a road loss to Xavier on Nov. 12.

The Vols take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at the Imperial Arena on Saturday.
