Bar fight sends two to the hospital

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A fight in an East Texas bar lands two people in the hospital.

It happened at 203 Spur 63 at the Memphis bar in Longview late Friday night.

Longview police responded to a call of an assault at the Memphis Bar. When they arrived they found that the bouncer, Joshua Carver, had multiple injuries.

According to a family member he has a detached retina, an orbital fracture, a broken hand and bite marks.

Police tell us the fight started after Joshua came back into the bar after taking out the trash. He was attacked by several people and one other person was injured as a result of the brawl.

The case is under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
