Tempe, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Arizona State defeated Arizona 58-21 to retain the Territorial Cup for the second straight year.
The Sun Devils overpowered the Wildcats in nearly every fashion while Arizona looked very little like the team that ran over the Ducks last week. Ka'Deem Carey finished with 157 yards on 32 carries. It was his 15th straight 100 yard rushing game, a Pac-12 record.
BJ Denker finished 15 of 30 with no touchdowns and three interceptions. His ASU counterpart, Taylor Kelly meanwhile threw for 274 yards and 2 touchdowns, one interception.
Arizona finishes the regular season 7-5, 4-5 in the Pac-12. Wildcats now await their bowl destination which should be announced Sunday, December 8th.
