Auburn named Tostitos Fiesta Bowl national team of the week

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Following the Auburn Tigers' stunning win over No. 1 ranked Alabama, the Tigers are riding a wave of enthusiasm from across the country as they focus on the next trip, Atlanta and the SEC Championship Game.

While that game is nearly a week away, the Tigers (11-1), are being recognized for what they did last week, earning the honor of being the season's last Tostitos Fiesta Bowl National Team of the Week.

 

The weekly honor was started by The Football Writers Association of America in 2002.
