You can help Tucson charities help our community

The need has never been greater for the non-profits in Southern Arizona.    So KOLD News 13 is giving back this holiday season by profiling some local charities that need our help.

Our anchor teams will share stories of five non-profits.  Simply go to Tucson News Now's 13 Gives Back page to see more and, if you can, donate.

Dan Marries and Teresa Jun will tell you about the Greater Tucson Fire Foundation.

Emily Turner and Mark Stine will profile Susan G. Komen in Southern Arizona.

Concetta Callahan and Colton Shone will tell you of the great work of the Boys and Girls Club.

Our weather team, Erin Jordan, Aaron Pickering and Dan Bronis, will be talking about the Community Food Bank.

And Heather Rowe and Craig Thomas will profile the Interfaith Community Services.

The station is involved with all of these non-profits.  But if you prefer, donate to a different charity.  We're hoping to remind our viewers of the need this holiday season and, if you're able, to give back to those in need in our great community.

Thank you and happy holidays from KOLD News 13!
