TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

83-year-old Walter Cichock has been missing since late Tuesday afternoon, according to TPD.

Cichock is described as a white male, 6' tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket over a green sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Cichock was driving his light brown 2012 Toyota Tacoma, single-cab truck with the Arizona license plate of ATY4210.

According to Cichock's wife, he was driving to the Veterans Administration Clinic Tuesday afternoon, and she had expected him back later Tuesday evening. He was reportedly seen at the VA Clinic, but had not made it home as of Tuesday night.

TPD reports that Cichock may have advanced dementia, though he has not been diagnosed yet.

Those who may have seen Cichock or his vehicle are asked to call 911.
