Oro Valley PD looking for woman suspected of fraud

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Oro Valley Police are trying to locate a woman suspected of using stolen credit cards.

On Nov. 16, OVPD heard from a woman after her car was burglarized at LA Fitness on North Oracle Road.  The thief broke a window and stole her purse.  The victim reported the incident immediately to OVPD.  Upon returning home, she discovered several of her credit cards had been used.

Police have obtained surveillance footage of a woman suspected of allegedly using the victim's credit cards.

She is described as Hispanic, approximately 40 years old, 5'- 5'3" in height, and approximately 180 pounds. She was wearing a black jacket with a hood, blue jeans and blue T-shirt. Her hair is dark in color, worn in a pony tail, and she was wearing dark sunglasses.

Police identified a man they included in another news release about this crime and have ruled him out as a suspect.

Anyone with information about this suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
