Tubac's Luminaria Nights is a spectacle for the whole family you won't want to miss.
Hundreds of luminarias line the streets and the studios throughout the village south of Tucson.
Santa Claus will make a visit and it's all free from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
After you check out the luminarias in Tubac, why not swing up to the Tucson Botanical Gardens for their 28th annual Luminaria Nights. They'll have 2,000 lanterns set up throughout the gardens and 30 different musical groups to keep you entertained from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets start at $5.
If twinkling lights and jingle bells are what your family has ordered up for the weekend, you'll definitely want to hop over to the Reid Park Zoo for Zoo Lights. Tickets range from $4 to $6 and it goes from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through Dec. 23.
And don't forget to grab a cup of cocoa as you walk through more than a million lights blanketing Holiday Nights at Tohono Chul Park on the northwest side. Enjoy live performances and take part in an ornament auction. Tickets range from $10 to $15 and it's open from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
