TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Officers have been in the area of Richey Boulevard and 3rd street for more than 10 hours, looking for evidence and talking to witnesses.

Several residents say they heard an explosion last night.

"A very loud firecracker, a jet plane that's very loud," said Ashley Hooker, neighbor. "I couldn't hear anything, my ears were ringing afterward."

Along with detectives, the fire department and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms have all been helping with the investigation.

Neighbors tell me the sound of the explosion rattled windows and even more a picture frame.

They even say they feel nervous tonight as they head to bed. One guy who has lived here for almost a year says this is the third time they have heard a loud explosion in the same area. Two of the blasts, happened just this weekend.

"It was a little terrifying, a little scary," said Bo Railsback and Michael Edwards, neighbors.

"I did jump. My upstairs windows shook and the curtains were going back and forth."

AFT spokesman says right now they are simply out here to help TPD with their investigation.

Police say no one was hurt and there is no immediate danger in this neighborhood at this time.
