TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The investigation continues this morning, after two explosions rock a midtown neighborhood.
Tucson Police were called to 3rd Street and Richey Blvd. on Monday, after neighbors reported hearing two loud explosions that sounded like pipe bombs. The investigation continues at this hour.
More than 15 hours ago TPD started investigating the cause of the explosions, several residents stated they heard what sounded like an explosion on Monday night.
One neighbor stated police were in the neighborhood over the weekend investigating another explosion in the same area. Residents say they were terrified and shocked about these explosions in the area.
As part of the investigation Tucson Police had the help of Tucson Fire and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
According to TPD no one has been hurt and there is no immediate danger at this point. There is no official word yet on what caused the explosions.
