SCOTUS turns down skywalk case

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Supreme Court is turning down a case involving the Grand Canyon Skywalk as it refuses to hear an appeal from a Las Vegas businessman.

David Jin invested $30 million to build the skywalk on the north rim that opened in 2007, but was in a dispute with the Hualapai Tribe over management fees and an unfinished visitors' center.

Jin tried to get the case moved out of the tribal court system, but a federal appeals court ruled the skywalk falls under tribal law.
