Kennedy bust stolen from downtown park

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A bronze bust of John F. Kennedy was stolen from its pedestal in Presidio Plaza over the weekend.

The bust, which was erected in 1964, was knocked entirely off the base of the memorial.

According to a news release from Tucson Parks and Recreation, a police report has been filed and metal shops in the area have been informed of the theft.
