    Last week Border Patrol agents seized more than $1 million in marijuana, as suspects attempted to smuggle it across the border into the U.S. In a recent release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, agents with the Ajo Station, stopped three suspected smuggling attempts on Sept. 11.

TUBAC, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Border Patrol agents have seized nearly half a million dollars in methamphetamine.

They found the drugs Monday night, while searching a car at the I-19 checkpoint near Tubac. A K-9 officer sniffed out the 30 pounds of meth hidden behind the back seat.
     
One woman is under arrest.
