It isn't too late to ship
a gift – the key dates to remember to get those presents there on time are:
December 20, the last day
to send first class mail, so that it will arrive by Christmas.
December 21, is the last
day for priority mail
December 23, is the last
day for priority mail express.
The U.S. Postal Service
has stated the key is to ship those presents early. Though there is more to the post office than
shipping gifts; for those last minute shoppers cards and gift cards can be
purchased and sent.
Here are a few tips
offered by the Postal Service:
Pick a strong and sturdy
box, to protect the gifts add some extra cushion; remember to remove all
batteries from electronics.
And one great tip is to
place an extra shipping label inside the box, so if the box and outside label
are damaged the post office can still return the box.
