A small plane carrying three people made an unscheduled landing in the desert south of Tucson.

No one was injured in the incident near Airpark Road and Interstate 19, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities say the Cessna 182 landed after the pilot noticed the plane was losing fuel.

They are awaiting the delivery of more fuel and will take off again.

No other information was provided.
