Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - For the second straight year, Wildcat junior running back Ka'Deem Carey was named a consensus All-American today after being named to the first team by both the American Football Coaches Association and the Football Writer's Association of American.
Carey was previously named a first team All-American by both the Associated Press and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. He was named second team All-American by the Sporting News.
He is the first Arizona offensive player to be named back to back consensus All-American, joining former defensive stars Ricky Hunley, Rob Waldrop, and Tedy Bruschi.
Carey rushed for 1,716 yards and 17 touchdowns en route to a record breaking season.
