Local kids to 'Shop with a Firefighter' Friday

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Northwest Fire District officials and volunteers have assembled bikes to give away to local children this holiday.

The Northwest Firefighters Charities first "Shop with a Firefighter" event is Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Target at 3901 W. Ina Road.

Off-duty firefighters and volunteers will help 40 kids pick their Christmas gift. Firefighters will also hand out 150 bikes donated by the Hope Network.
