TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue teams were called to King's Anvil Ranch for an injured climber.

Authorities said the victim fell 30 to 40 feet around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 28 after an anchor on his rope failed and he injured his upper left thigh, left ankle, and pelvic area.

A helicopter was called to respond to the remote location and airlifted the climber to a landing zone near the Three Points Fire Department. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, according to a news release.

The rescue was caught on camera and is shown in the attached video.
