TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson welcomes its first baby of 2014.

Mom Tiffany Newton was in labor for 25 hours before the baby showed up in time for the New Year.

"She's here, it's very exciting," Tiffany Newton said.

The little girl was born at 12:04 a.m. today at the University of Arizona Medical Center.

Her name is Meadow.

The Newton family said its excited to take her home.
