TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

2013 was another successful year for the Winterhaven Festival of Lights and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

The numbers are in and they were particularly good in 2013.  Here is a quick break down of the totals for the two weeks of Winterhaven:

Monetary donations - $18,263 (2012 total was $20,753); food donations were 43,336 pounds (2012 total was 33,905).

Even though monetary donations were down from 2012 to 2013, food donations were up by nearly 10,000 pounds.

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is thanking all who donated in 2013, as well the residents, volunteers and staff who helped make last year a successful one.  They are also looking forward to another successful Winterhaven 2014.
