TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sierra Vista Police ask for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a Dillard's employee at knifepoint.

Authorities said a man robbed the employee in the men's restroom of a Dillard's store around 11:45 a.m. on New Year's day. Police said the suspect held up a knife and demanded the employee's wallet. The employee was not hurt.

The suspect was last seen running toward a Jack-in-the-Box between Dillard's and State Route 92.

Police describe him as white or Hispanic in his 20s and about 6-feet tall with a slim to medium build. He wore a long sleeve black shirt and blue jeans, according to a news release.

Anyone with information is urged to call (520) 452-7500.
