TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Flooded streets lead to no water for some south side residents Thursday night. One woman was without a car after a sinkhole formed from a water main break.

Officials shut off the water to about 43 customers near S. Forgeus Avenue and E. Coconino Vista as they worked to fix the break and fill the sinkhole that claimed one car. Around 1:00 a.m. Friday morning, the water was turned back on.

Tucson Police got the call around 6:45 p.m. when a van fell into a hole that was under water from the water main break.

A woman was driving with her daughter, niece and nephew inside.

The van hauled away around 7:30 p.m.
