Woman accused of murder in court for arraignment

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman accused of a murder on Tucson's west side in November is back in court today.

Michelle Marie Price is scheduled to appear in Superior Court this afternoon for her arraignment.

The 39-year-old is charged with second degree murder, possession of a deadly weapon and two counts of cruel mistreatment of an animal.

Price is accused of murdering a 64-year-old woman and two dogs.

The victim, Linda Daley, was found dead in her home near ‘A' Mountain.

Police say two days before the murder, Price showed up at Daley's home with her dog, looking for a place to live.

Court documents show Price had been hospitalized for mental health issues one month before the murder.

The arraignment for Price is scheduled today for 1 p.m.
