Tribute to Jan. 8 victims

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Remembering January 8, Together We Thrive organizers are presenting the cards, mementos and keepsakes that were left behind at several sites to honor the victims after the January 8, 2011 shooting.

Together We Thrive hosted the first of three opening receptions for the exhibit, the first was today at noon at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library.  There will be two more opening receptions to showcase these special tribute materials that honor the victims of the January 8 mass shooting. 

A second reception will be held January 8 at 10 a.m. at the Nanini Branch Library (7300 N. Shannon Rd.); and a third on January 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Eckstrom-Columbus Library (4350 E. 22nd St.)

After the receptions the materials will be on display throughout January at any of the three library locations.
