MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The No. 2 ranked Auburn Tigers fell to the undefeated No. 1 ranked Florida State Seminoles in the BCS National Championship Monday night, but for a while the Tigers had won, at least according to FSU.

Tuesday, fans of the Seminoles could purchase their championship shirts from the university's official online sports site, "Seminole Shop", but one of the shirts wasn't like the others.

The shirt, shown in the attached photos, declared the final score Auburn 34 to Noles 31.

Florida State moved to update the link to the shirt (HERE: FSU SHOP) following viral posts on social media.

Despite what the shirt said, the Seminoles, led by their Heisman-winner quarterback, did win the game, taking the lead Auburn held for most of the game with just 13 seconds left in the 4th quarter.

The final score was 34 to 31, but not in favor of the Tigers.

Dylan Thompson threw for three touchdowns and No. 24 South Carolina's maligned defense stood strong on a fourth-quarter goal line stand to topple No. 6 Georgia 38-35 on Saturday night.
No. 24 South Carolina's defense showed it's not nearly as bad as it looked two weeks ago - and maybe that No. 6 Georgia isn't the runaway favorite in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division.

Georgia can establish itself as a top-tier beast if it gets by South Carolina this weekend - and USC would drop to 0-2 in the league with a loss. Tennessee travels to Oklahoma, where Coach Bob Stoops doesn't believe the SEC is all-powerful.
