Police seek credit card theft suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities continue to search for a woman suspected of spending about $3,000 on a credit card reportedly stolen from a vehicle.

Pima County Sheriff's officials said a woman's purse was taken from her car in the 7300 block of W. El Camino Del Cerro around 2 p.m. on Dec. 23. The victim later realized her credit cards were used at retailers in the area, according to a news release.

Police described the suspect as Hispanic, heavy set and has long, dark hair. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket, glasses, carried a grey backpack and drove a gold Nissan sedan, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
