SACEA sponsors weekend Shred-a-Thon event

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The public can shred unwanted papers and documents at a Shred-a-Thon event this weekend.

Tax returns, billing statements, receipts and personal documents can be brought to the Target parking lot at 6500 E. Grant Road, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SACEA officials sponsoring the event suggest a minimum donation of $5 per box or three non-perishable food items for the Community Food Bank.

They said cash donations might qualify for a "dollar for dollar" Arizona income tax credit.
