Soccer games taking over fields across Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Soccer fields across Tucson will be busy this weekend, with the 24th year of the Tucson Association of Realtors Shootout.

There will be over 5,000 youth soccer players participating in the tournament, not only including local teams but teams from across the U.S. and Mexico.

Starting festivities off is the parade of athletes, followed by the soccer Olympics at 6 p.m.

The Shootout is one of the largest youth soccer events in Southern Arizona; not only will teams be playing at Ft. Lowell, but at 45 soccer pitches around Tucson.

Tournament play begins on Saturday and Sunday at 7:45 a.m.
