TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Governor Jan Brewer Friday unveiled her $9.4 billion spending plan that saves nearly $90 million for child safety, including an overhaul of Child Protective Services, which she announced earlier this week in her State of the State address.

Education spending will increase more than $250 million to nearly $4 billion.

Tucson news now is also learning there's money involving the future of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.
