ANN ARBOR, Mich., Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Affinia Group Inc., an innovative global leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and marketing of industrial grade products and services, has announced that it has entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement for the sale of its global chassis business to an affiliate of Federal-Mogul Corporation, a leading global supplier of products and services to the world's manufacturers and servicers of vehicles and equipment in the automotive, light, medium and heavy-duty commercial, marine, rail, aerospace, power generation and industrial markets.
