TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's deputies have charged a man with second degree homicide after an alleged dispute with his father.

PCSD is reporting the incident began with a call Wednesday evening about a domestic violence situation in the 16500 block of W. Moore Road.  Deputies arrived on the scene to Justin Patrick, on the ground in front of a house.  The 47-year-old was not breathing.  His son, Jared Patrick was found walking away from the scene by PCSD deputies.

Justin was transported to a local hospital for treatment, according to the PCSD release, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators with the PCSD Homicide unit stated that family members found the two fighting just outside the home and were able to separate the two, but Justin succumbed to his injuries.

Jared is booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Center, where he faces charges of second degree murder.
