Saguaro National Park is still looking for volunteers to help clear buffelgrass this weekend.
This Saturday, January 25 is the 7th annual Beat Back Buffelgrass day; a coordinated effort taking place across Southern Arizona, to help combat this invasive plant.
Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to noon to help pull grass at one of the Saguaro National Parks or other areas around the valley. Sites range from Sahuarita to the Catalinas and volunteers are needed all over.
