Nick Johnson's 22 points paced the top-ranked Wildcats to a 65-56 victory over Utah. The win gives undefeated Arizona (20-0 overall, 7-0 Pac-12) a school-record 20 consecutive wins, and sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 conference.
Aaron Gordon tossed in a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Utah's Delon Wright led the Utes with 19 points as Utah kept the score close through most of the game.
Trailing 47-45, the Wildcats went on a 14-2 run to retake control of the game. Johnson had eight of 22 points during the stretch. UA annihilated the Utes on the glass grabbing 20 offensive rebounds which the Cat turned into 19 points, eight those also came during that 14-2 run.
Jordan Loveridge added 13 for the Utes (14-6, 3-5).
The Wildcats will now hit the road to face Stanford on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tucson Time.
