    Firefighters are battling flames after a brief lightning storm near Elgin ignited several fires that combined into one on Saturday afternoon, according to Sonoita Fire Department PIO Katie Goodwin. Sonoita
    600 acres outside of Elgin have burned. Sonoita Fire Department is on the scene and more units are on their way.
TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima Association of Governments is looking for input from the residents of Pima County, and has launched the 2045 Regional Transportation Plan.

This is a chance for the public to submit their thoughts through an online survey as PAG begins to update its long-range plan.

The goal is to help PAG identify goals, challenges and projects for the region over the next 30 years.

The survey touches on a variety of areas, including land use, public transportation, traffic management and transportation safety.

The survey will be open until mid-March.
