Alabama Dance Theatre holding open auditions for children and men

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The Alabama Dance Theatre will be holding an open audition for children and men to perform in the upcoming performances, "The NEW Princess Stories."

Parts will be available "Aladdin", "Pocahontas", and "Invitation to the Dance, for boys and girls from second grade to sixth grade.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 26th at 5:00 -6:30 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 4:30 p.m. and will be judged on acting, dancing ability, and musicality.

"The NEW Princess Stories" will feature excerpts from "Aladdin", "Pocahontas", and "Swan Lake" and will be held February 28, March 1& 2 2013 at the Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts located in downtown Montgomery.
