September HiVE dates for OVPD

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

September begins another month of High Visibility Enforcement (HiVE) for Oro Valley Police Officers.

Motorcycle officers will be stationed on Oracle Road at both the Magee and Suffolk intersections to help increase awareness and reduce collisions due to inattention, following too close and failing to yield.

OVPD will deploy motorcycle officers on the following dates on Oracle at both the Magee and Suffolk intersections:

  • Thursday, Sept. 1 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Thursday, Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. 
  • Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Motorists are asked to be aware of the additional enforcement activity and drive safely.
