TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Rural/Metro crews were on the scene of a house fire on Tucson's eastside, in the 10200 block of E. Sabino Estates.

According to Rural/Metro Captain Grant Cesarek, flames and smoke had been visible from the road when crews arrived.  Firefighters were able to cut holes in the roof of the home, to keep the fire from spreading, containing it to the attic space.

There were no injuries to report, according to a Rural/Metro release.  Fire inspectors are currently on scene, searching for the source of the fire and provide damage estimates.
