TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A pedestrian was taken to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Irvington and Highland tonight, officials said.

Tucson Police said two people walked in a crosswalk in the 1300 block of E. Irvington when one of them was hit. Officials said the pedestrian had non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver pulled over and cooperated with police. No further information was available.
