TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Board of Supervisors appointed Demion Clinco as the new State Representative from Legislative District Two today.

Clinco, who was approved in a 3-2 vote, replaces Andrea Dalessandro and will serve out the remainder of her term in the Arizona House of Representatives.

He is the president of the Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation Board and CEO of Frontier Consulting Group LLC. He serves on the Tucson-Pima County Historic Commission and the board of the Center for Desert Archeology.

Clinco has a BA in art history from Occidental College in Los Angeles.

Dalessandro was elevated to the State Senate last month, replacing Linda Lopez, who retired.
