Mike has a change of heart

Posted: Updated:

Tucson, AZ (KOLD) - One day after declaring he would sign with Vanderbilt, Sabino offensive lineman Andrew Mike has changed his mind.

Mike will now sign with the Florida Gators.

Head coach Jay Campos texted Sports Director Damien Alameda that while Mike liked Vanderbilt for the education, Florida had too much football tradition to ignore. After Gator coaches came on strong, Mike ultimately changed his mind.

National signing day is Wednesday, February 5th. Stay with Tucson News Now for all your Southern Arizona coverage.
