Three more Gamecocks baseball scrimmages set

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

There are only eight more days until Opening Day at Carolina Stadium for a new season of Gamecock baseball, but the team is giving you one last opportunity to get a good look at them before the season starts.

Three open scrimmages will be held this weekend as the team warms up for the upcoming season.

The first scrimmage is set for Friday at 4 p.m., the second is set for Saturday at 1 p.m., and the final is set for 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The Gamecocks begin the 2014 baseball season with a three-game series against Bucknell in Columbia. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Feb. 14.
