TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Two people were injured and a man was arrested without incident after a SWAT situation in Bisbee today.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, one of the injured was transported to a Tucson hospital.

Sheriff's deputies and the Bisbee Police Department were called to a residence in the 900 block of American Avenue in the Bakerville area of Bisbee late this morning after reports of shots fired.

A man barricaded himself inside the residence and the Cochise County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team was dispatched to get the man out of the residence.

According to Bisbee Police, one man suffered a single gunshot wound to his hand. Another person was injured in his hand, but it was not a gunshot wound.

Police evacuated neighboring homes during the incident.

Police say the suspect gave himself up 10 minutes after police reached him on the phone.

The scene was cleared at about 2 p.m.

Police have not yet released the name of the suspect.
