Multiple overnight shootings under investigation in Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo police are investigating several unrelated shootings that occurred Saturday morning.

Police were called to the King of Diamonds strip club, at Matzinger Road and Stickney Avenue, around 3 a.m.

Witnesses tell police a shooting occurred inside of the club. Few details have been released.

Another shooting occurred shortly after around 4 a.m.

Investigators say two people were shot in the 1400 block of Detroit avenue, near Palmwood Ave. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

WTOL 11 crews on the scene say one person was taken away in handcuffs by police. Detectives are in the process of interviewing witnesses.

No details on a possible suspect have been released.

Another possible shooting involving three victims occurred at the intersection of Detroit Avenue and Fearing Boulevard. Police are investigating.

    An unwelcome visitor was cause for some tense moments and quick action in the King household Saturday morning. Krystal King says it was about 7 a.m. when Stephen, her oldest son, came into his parents' room to notify them about the "big snake in the bathroom."
