TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Charges against a Tucson man accused of running over his wife have been dropped.

Tucson Police say the investigation continues.

Todd Rounds, 48, was arrested after police said he ran over and killed his wife on Feb. 8.

Rounds had been with second degree murder. Those charges have been dropped, but police say the investigation may lead to other charges.

Police said that they received a 911 call from a man about 1:20 a.m. on Feb. 8. The caller said he had been in a collision. When officers responded to the house on East Sascha Street, they found no one.  But they found 47-year-old Donna Rounds around the corner, on Krissy Avenue near Vendela Street.

Police said that Todd Rounds allegedly had run over his wife Donna with his pickup and returned home to call 911.  Police said that Rounds was walking back to the scene when they found him.
