The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has positively identified the male in a suspected murder-suicide on Cleveland's west side.
No one knows how long trouble had been brewing inside the home at 3432 West 125th Street but it came to a violent end on February 16.
Cleveland Police were called to the home around 12:25 p.m. to find a deceased man and woman.
The male has now been identified as 24-year-old Peter Ogletree Jr.
The female will be identified after proper next of kin notification has been made.
"I feel sorry for the family," says neighbor Rick Lane.
At this early stage investigators would only say it is a possible murder-suicide, but neighbors Rick Lane and Cheyenne Kannel are saying much more.
"The boyfriend caught the girlfriend cheating on him. The way I heard it he shot her and then shot himself," says Lane.
"He drove up in a car, parked the car in the driveway got out, left the baby in the car went in the house, shot her and then shot himself," says Kannel.
"With the 2-year-old girl in the back seat of the car in the drive way," says Kannel.
Apparently the child left in the car in the driveway was the couple's two year old daughter.
Pain and grief were written on the faces of the victim's loved ones, shell shocked in the freezing cold by their loss.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
No further information is available on this case at this time.
