TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's officials ask for the public's help in locating an 83-year-old man who authorities said did not return from a walk Monday morning.

Authorities said John Freeman left his neighborhood in the 16000 block of S. Shoshone Trail, near Interstate 10 and Mescal Road, around 11:30 a.m. They said he has a medical condition and can be forgetful.

He is known to walk near E. Tonopah Trail and S. Susquehanna Avenue, officials said.

Freeman stands about 5'8" tall, weighs about 165 lbs. and has grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a maroon plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, hiking boots, a beige hat with an "A" on it and had a walking stick.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
