TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Davis-Monthan AFB is home to two semifinalists for Operation Homefront Military Child of the Year award.

Karrington Pryor and Caylin Taylor are finalists for the 2014 MCOY award.

Karrington's mother is Tech. Sgt. Abbi Cabeen, section Chief for the 923rd Maintenance Squadron and her step-father is Master Sgt. Mark Cabeen production superintendent for the 355th Maintenance Squadron.

Caylin's father is with the 355th Civil Engineering Squadron, as the non-commissioned officer in charge of Readiness and Emergency Management Flight.

Both girls demonstrate the qualities that exemplify the military child – resiliency, leadership and achievement.
